This program area monitors wetlands to assess the effects of oil sands development activities on wetland ecosystems in the oil sands region of Alberta. Data and products generated from this program area measure, map, and assess changes in wetland indicators to evaluate the influence of oil sands development and cumulative effects on wetland condition and function.
